We’re going to keep it up to date with the latest developments in the world of Grow A Garden, as a one-stop shop for the up-to-date state of the upcoming content.

You can play Grow A Garden now on Roblox. If you’re interested in the confirmed released content for the game, then take a look at our Grow A Garden update guide.

Grow A Garden Leaks

We’ll go over each of the leaks that attach to a particular update, and add new content as we find it.

Summer Seeds Moving To The Travelling Merchant

Lead Dev Jandel held a poll on the Grow A Garden Discord, asking if the Summer Seeds should move to the Travelling Merchant, returning the previous seeds to the Seed Shop. Currently the option to return the old seeds is winning the poll. Our verdict: Stock up on Summer Seeds as they might get a lot harder to get hold of.

A Better Crop Than Candy Blossom Is Coming Next Update

In one of the admin messages in the lead up to the Mega Harvest, Lead Developer Jandel dropped some huge news. We grabbed a screenshot just so you don’t have to just take our word for it.

  • The next week will be a Prehistoric Event.
  • The Prehistoric Event will have a crop that’s better than Candy Blossom.

Space Event?

On the 20th of June, lead developer Jandel released a video onto the official Grow A Garden Discord. It included this screen, showing what appeared to be the whole garden field lfying through space, with massive starship engines powering it forwards.

If you look closely, you can see an event icon in the bottom right corner, this indicates that this is an in-game event, like Black Hole or Sun God. Like those, we suspect it’s likely to be admin-only activation, but we can’t be sure on that one just yet.

Summer Update Latest

On the 19th of June, developer DJ Jhai posted a picture on the official Grow A Garden Discord community. Let’s go into what that tells us about what we can expect.

This reveals two new particular features available in the new content.

  • New Pet – Turtle
    • What appears to be a new pet, there’s no mistaking a turtle. No word about what abilities this little guy will bring to your garden.
  • New Crop – Prickly Pear?
    • We did a bit of comparing photos to decide what we thought this new crop might be, and our bet is a Prickly Pear Cactus. These edible cacti are also known as Nopales, and used in Mexican cuisine. Potential new addition to the Seed Shop? We’ll see.

Summer Update

Between admin announcements and screen grabs of obscure frames from videos, the following has allegedly been leaked about the Summer update. Keep in mind that most of these are unofficial leaks, so we cannot guarantee how accurate they will be.

  • The Seed Shop will reset with a whole new set of seeds.
  • Existing events will end.
  • Parrot will be one of the new pets.
  • Ostrich and Flamingo are potential new pets, too.
  • There will be at least one new mutation.

Working Bees Update

Prior to the Working Bees update, one of the developers released this screenshot onto the official Grow A Garden Discord, pointing out a number of different new bits of content.

  • New Pets
    • You can see two pets, the Cooked Owl and the Pack Bee in the screenshot.
  • Crafting Features
    • The screen shows off the crafting mechanic in the main window, with some of the ingredients needed and the crafting time.
  • New equipment and plant types are displayed on the hotbar at the bottom of the screen.
    • Cleaning Spray (Gear)
    • Suncoil (Crop)
    • Bee Balm (Crop)
    • Crocus (Crop)
  • New Mutation on the Crocus
