Biological and Sentient life meet with the inclusion of Caliban to Digital Extreme’s Warframe on August 26.
The heir of two kingdoms, Caliban is an ancient survivor of The Old War that was uncovered from the wreckage.
While Caliban was originally crafted to specifically hunt down the Tenno by Sentient warlord Erra, he now finds himself free of his creator’s clutches, joining an arsenal of Warframes as he sets out to restore his own honor.
On that note, Warframe players will be able to dash forward as they cut down enemies in a spinning vortex. One can also slam the ground with a wrathful strike, and can also summon Prime versions of his Sentient constructs (Conculyst, Ortholyst, and Summulyst) to further damage foes or buff defenses.
Warframe players will be able to equip the latest in Prime weaponry, including Caliban’s signature melee scythe Venato Prime, and the new sniper rifle Vadarya Prime.
Finally, Warframe players will be able to utilize exclusive cosmetics, including the Neurovyre Prime Syandana backpiece, the Tauron Prime Regalia outfit for the Operator and Drifter, exclusive Caliban Prime Glyphs. This is on top of 90-Day Affinity and Resource Boosters.
Note that Warframe players can earn Caliban Prime for free, along with his signature weapons, by collecting the required Blueprints via Void Relics and crafting his components in the Foundry.
