When you’ve spent so much time developing animations for the project or you plan to begin development after you confirm you voice over talents, and have finally to hire voice actors for your projects then you have come to the right place.

The talent is only going to know what you tell them, that is right from the tone, pacing to any extra context behind the project or characters.
Go through this checklist before you start looking for voice talents.
Clear Communication about character’s emotions during the delivery, the backstory and all/any information of the character is dealing with.
Once you have decided that is voice actor is the who you think is the right fit for your animated project/ character, make a list of all the things like:
- Tone of the delivery like sarcastic, conversational, angry, playful
- Details of what your character is going through and what he is thinking
- Additional information about the different characters your voice actor’s character is interacting with
- Number of audio files in the final delivery

The voice actors delivers final audio files to your inbox. Depending how many and how long the dialogues, the number of audio files would vary.
It is better to discuss with the voice over talent, in how many files will the final product will be delivered. Having separate audio files for each dialogue is ready to use your project timeline after importing and on the other hand having multiple dialogues in one audio file would again add extra editing work on your end.
Requesting separate files from the talent at most times will cost more because it more work to edit and export each audio file. Although it is possible to negotiate this if the audio content is too long. Hence budgeting for these sorts of stuff always helps.
