Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Wonderland Whimsy, brings a ton of new cosmetics, items, decorative items, quests, and characters. The Wonderland Whimsy update also includes a new Star path, a seasonal pass through which players can earn several rewards. How to Unlock Butterfly Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Butterfly Companion is one of the redeemable rewards in the Garden of Whimsy Star Path. Meaning, players can only obtain it by progressing in the new Star Path. Garden of Whimsy Star Path contains several rewards divided among 7 tiers. All of these rewards are redeemed using the Event Currency, which is the Pocket Watch Tokens. Fortunately, the very first tier of the Star Path includes the Butterfly Companion reward. Players can redeem the Butterfly Companion for 50 Pocket Watch Tokens.
Players can earn the Pocket Watch Tokens by completing the daily duties of the Star Path. There are 3 daily duties that players can complete per day with the Regular Star Path, and completing each duty will reward players with 5 tokens. However, the players who have the Premium Star Path will have access to 6 daily duties, allowing them to farm the tokens quickly.
Upon earning the event currency of the Star Path, go into the Star Path menu and select the ‘Rewards’ tab to redeem the Butterfly Companion.
NOTE: “Now, keep in mind that, like many exclusive previous companions who were a part of the Star Paths, Butterfly is also time-limited. Players can redeem it until the Star Path’s ending time, which is June 11, 2025.”
How to Equip the Butterfly Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Equipping the Butterfly Companion will require players to open the “Companions” category. It is under the Wardrobe tab. From there, select the Butterfly to equip it. It will follow the players, and players can freely take pictures with it. Moreover, players can also house the companion in a Companion Home.
