Mega Feraligatr has not been officially revealed for Pokemon Legends Z-A, yet.
There have been rumors about it since the announcement of Mega Pokemon officially returning. It was not until recently, though, that we received confirmation that these leaks were likely real or at least very close. Below is a rumor that comes from the same leaks that described Mega Dragonite, Mega Victreebel and Mega Hawlucha very well.
There are many taleneted artists out there and one of them made a 3-D model for Mega Feraligatr. It was so good that many people thought this is what the final one would look like.

It was confirmed not to be real as the artist came forward. Then, a few months later, we got another artist’s rendition through a known leaker, BallGuy on Twitter/X.

Both of these look pretty similar to what initially leaked. Whether or not these are the real Mega Feraligatr is yet to be seen. But, the good news is that we should be finding out soon.

More About Feraligatr’s New Evolution
One of the biggest changes that is supposedly coming for Feraligatr is that it will go from a pure water-type Pokemon to a water and dragon-type Pokemon. This will make it a much stronger Pokemon as it will also get an expected stat boost. Feraligatr is already a good bulky-attacker, it would be a surprise to see it get anything other than boosts in Attack, Defense and maybe HP.
Along with this, you can expect it to get a new ability and access to a completely new move pool. There have been a few Pokemon with the same typing but none of them will likely be as bulky or attack-focused as this new Mega Evolution should be.
How to Get Mega Feraligatr in Pokemon Legends Z-A
As of right now it is not known how we will get Mega Feraligatr. That being said, we have some good guesses.
To start, you will need to pick Totodile as your starting Pokemon. Then you will likely receive the Mega Stone or Feraligatrite from one of these possible people. Either it will be from the new Pokemon Professor in the game, Mabel. Or you might receive it from your rival Taunie or Urbain. Lastly, you might get it from A-Z. There are certainly other options but these feel like they are the most likely based on what we know so far about the game.
