PlayStation has revealed the last month of its PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for 2024 in a PlayStation Blog post. Starting December 3rd, anyone subscribed to any PlayStation Plus tier can add It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem to their library.
It Takes Two (PS4 & PS5)
“It Takes Two is a genre-bending platform adventure created purely for co-op. Choose from couch or online co-op with split-screen play, invite a friend to join for free with Friend’s Pass2 and work together across a huge variety of gleefully disruptive gameplay challenges. Play as the clashing couple Cody and May; two humans turned into dolls by a magic spell. Together, trapped in a fantastical world where the unpredictable hides around every corner, they are reluctantly challenged with saving their fractured relationship,” a synopsis of the game in a PlayStation blog post describes.

Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4 & PS5)

Temtem (PS5)

That’s not all that’s being added this coming Tuesday, as PlayStation announced that PlayStation Plus Premium members will be able to play the game trial for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Additionally, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy will be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classic Game Catalogue on December 10th.
PlayStation is also hosting a free multiplayer weekend from December 6th through the 8th, which will coincide with its Esports Tournament. The games that will be featured include EA Sports FC 25, NBA 2K25, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, Madden NFL 25, College Football 25, UFC 5, MLB The Show 24, and Guilty Gear Strive. The last big announcement is that PlayStation is hosting a sweepstakes from December 10th through the 23rd, where 30 winners can win 30 months of PlayStation Plus Premium. To qualify, you must subscribe to the PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe tier and play any game from the Classics Catalogue to enter the sweepstakes.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have until December 2nd, 2024, to add Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Note Killer Within to their PlayStation game libraries.
