There has been a content overload in this year’s Warhammer Skulls 2025 event. The event unveiled new games, DLCs, and major updates across the Warhammer universe. For mobile players, Warhammer 40000 is dropping the Adeptus Custodes and Emperor’s Children in Tacticus and Warpforge, respectively.
Command the Adeptus Custodes
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is adding another Imperium faction. It’s the Adeptus Custodes, the Emperor’s personal bodyguards. They are stronger, tougher, and more heavily armed than the Space Marines.
The Adeptus Custodes will show up in a new Legendary Survival Event starting on May 24th. Trajann Valoris will be leading the charge, who is built to take a hit and deal a lot more back.

Meanwhile, Kill at the Command of the Emperor’s Children!
In Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, things are going in a completely different direction. The Emperor’s Children have joined the game.
They used to be loyal to the Imperium, but split during the Horus Heresy and now follow Slaanesh. Now, they’re into excess, pain, and just pushing things to the edge.
The new faction comes with three warlords. Lord Kaphrael focuses on taking out enemy champions and leads a warband called the Callous Blades. Xarahan is all about arrogance while Lucius the Eternal brings centuries of dueling experience.
The mechanics are just as twisted as you’d expect. Cards marked with Ecstasy activate effects when their health drops to a set point. Cruelty gives you bonuses for damaging enemies without killing them.
Meanwhile, Stimulation triggers when a unit is targeted by a stratagem. And Combat Elixirs generate extra stratagems to set the rest of the mechanics off. Take a look at the trailer below.
